| We are happy to say that we have signed a deal with the German indielabel Guideline Records, meaning our album Shaking Hallelujah will be available in Germany and surrounding territories! Whohoooo!!! Read announcement from Guideline Records: We already fell in love with this band when we first got in contact years ago but somehow nothing really worked out yet for some serious cooperation between Guideline Records and Silence The Foe. Therefore it's unnecessary to tell how happy we are that this Norwegian band is finally parts of the Guideline roster. They see themselves not too serious as a band (what can be very refreshing nowadays) but at the same time they give 110 % on stage. There are not many bands that walk their own musical path as Silence The Foe does. They decided many years ago that the traditional rules within the terms of hardcore must be challenged which lead to the fact that the band was labeled as “Happy Hardcore”. Call it rock, punk or hardcore, anyway it's noisy, maybe weird, sometimes out of tune but passionate, catchy and way more authentic then those who claim to be „real“. Check the title track “Shaking Hallelujah” on our myspace site, and discover for yourself why whole Scandinavia is already psyched about Silence The Foe. Also mark your calendars, because the release date for „Shaking Hallelujah“ is already set for May 8th. Wailing, out of tune screams, firecracker drums, and haunting riffs beat the living shit out of poppy little beats, clever hooks, and a tambourine. | The Norwegian Arts Council has included Silence the Foe, Shaking Hallelujah in their purchasing programme. This means that every library in Norway will have copies out for loan soon from now, so we´re actually about to the break the Silence in every Norwegian library, just you wait and see ;)

| Our beloved members Frantz Andreassen and Audun Storset have decided to leave the STF camp. We wish them tons of luck with focusing 100% on The Lionheart Brothers, education and job. It´s also without any doubt that we owe them bigtime for their contribution to the Silence the Foe collective. The rest of us will still continue to play loud for as long as we manage, but with Arnbjørn living in Copenhagen it is natural for us to take it a bit more down to earth for the next couple of years, at least in Norway. But hey! Let´s get realistic for a second or two; Hard rock music is what it is, and in a country with not more than 4,5 million inhabitants, it is without any doubt that we have to do a whole lot more in life besides sitting in a tiny bus for ages just to get around the next corner to play a show and then wake up the next morning figuring out that you didn´t quite make the ends meet that night either. We will therefore have to focus more on doing stuff like school and work, than we´ve been doing for the last couple of years. But we are also gonna work more on getting Silence the Foe far more available outside Scandinavia. Starting in the US and Lujo Records (shaking hallelujah getting released early next year). So we´re still out there poeple, hitting hard, dancing clumsy and screaming in the exact wrong, but beautiful tune! Beware, we´re still the same monster as we´ve always been. We just have to take it a bit slow in order to do an ever better boogie once we do it! Is this ok people? |

| Our album is finally out on iTunes Music Store in Scandinavia/Europe through Playground Music. Click here to go directly to the album (requires iTunes of course)! Lujo Records will release our album in the US and it is therefore not yet available through Itunes for territory North America. Happy hunting!
